THANE: While the so-called tradition keepers like Bajrang Dal are busy in thrashing couples on the ‘Love Diwas’, a video shared on social media showing the men and women at BJP’s office celebrating Valentine’s Day.
The video was uploaded by one Jitu Bhai on Facebook purportedly shot at Mira-Bhayander in Thane district of Maharashtra shows a decorated hall with a big BJP banner in the background.
The authenticity of the video could not be independently verified by The Siasat Daily.

BJP’s ideological brother Bajrang Dal and other fringe elements harassing the young couples celebrating the day of international love (Valentine’s Day).
The activists so-called moral policing indulged in such a kind of brutal violence and take law in their own hands. They assaulted and thrashed the couples in Muzaffarpur, Bihar for celebrating Valentine’s Day.

Many right wing leaders suggested celebrating the day as ‘Matra-Pitra Pujya Diwas’ even the Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh celebrated February 14 as ‘Parents Day’.
The district collector J K Jain had come out with an order directing all educational and social institutions to observe February 14 as ‘Matra-Pitra Pujya Diwas’ (Worship of mother and father day).
