New Delhi: In an attempt to de-escalate rifts between the India and Pakistan, Indian Acapella Band Voxchord has sung the national anthem of Pakistan as a gift for their 70th Independence Day.
The video starts with the message, “This is our way of wishing you, Happy Birthday Pakistan”.
Using placards, members of the band say, “This Independence Day, we’d like to dedicate a song to our neighbours. A song about faith, pride and grandeur, of power, progress and perfection”.
It may be noted that Pakistan celebrates Independence Day on 14th August.
