Hyderabad: Two days back an incident had taken place in Suryanagar Colony of Chikkadpally area, Hyderabad, wherein Muslim youths who were going on bikes were stopped and asked to say “Jai Shri Ram”. When they did not raise this slogan, the miscreants beat them and caused injuries to their bodies. They also damaged the vehicles passing through that road. In this incident, 5 youths were injured and they were sent to hospital for treatment.
Police arrested 10 persons and posted police pickets in Surya Nagar area. Police also registered cases against both the communities alleging violence and attempt to murder.
Task Force arrested 10 persons and presented them before the court. They were given in judicial remand.
