Hyderabad: In a terrific accident at Rajendra Nagar Road, a Sub-Inspector of Police died and two women got injured.
It is reported that Sub-Inspector, Mohammed Khaleel was returning home after getting his leave sanctioned. He lost control of his car and hit a tree at the Outer Ring Road near Himayat Sagar.
In the accident, two women constables, Kirti and Mamta, who were travelling in the same car received serious injuries.

It may be mentioned that Mr. Khaleel (44) had joined the Police Dept. after serving the Indian Army. He was associated with Special Branch of Hyderabad City Police. During these days, he was undergoing training at Telangana Police Academy.
On receiving the news of the accident, Rajendra Nagar Police team reached the spot immediately and shifted the victims to the hospital. Police suspects that the accident might have taken place due to excessive rainfall.
Mr. Khaleel was a very popular and duty conscious police officer. He commanded a lot of respect in the Dept. SP of Vikharabad District, Ms. T. Annapurna expressed deep grief.
During his career he did many good deeds, on one such occasion last year, he had made a funeral arrangement of an unclaimed Muslim dead body at his cost. He had also earned the name for his best performance in the murder case of a mutawalli of Dargah.
Rajendra Nagar Police registered a case and investigations are in progress.
