Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today said that elections for village panchayats will be conducted before the deadline. Talking to reporters at Bhuvanagiri here he said that people will not vote for the opposition parties during next elections. Panchayat Raj Act will get reforms for transparency and for smooth governance, he claimed.
He expressed confidence that the new act will bring in ethical governance. The opposition parties are blaming the government for false prestige he fumed. He also took exception to the opposition for trying to stall growth. The people who are unhappy at the stalling growth will teach them a lesson to the opposition he said.
