This village warns BJP workers from entering their locality

Well, some people can no longer take nonsense from the saffron party following which they have banned entry of the party followers in their village.

The village called Kachera in Greater Noida detests the BJP party, so much that, they have put up a board which read BJP party people are not allowed inside.

The move was taken by the villagers after their crops were allegedly destroyed by the local administration and employees of the Wave Group.

A village resident of Tejinder Nagar was quoted as saying, “Five days ago, we all woke up to around 25-30 excavators destroying crops we had sown six months ago. A force of around 100 policemen had made a perimeter around the tractors so that no villager could disrupt the work. When we asked questions, we were greeted with lathis.”

As many as 80 villagers had been arrested over the incident back then said sources.

According to reports the land was acquired from the villagers in 2010 for a housing project called “High Tech City” in 2010. The farmers refused to give up their land and demanded additional compensation.

Though the farmers later agreed to the deal, they asked for additional time for their crops but the developers allegedly drove excavators through the fields that destroyed the crops.

Another villager Mahender Pehelwan told: “Nobody from the ruling party came to support us. We have taken our plea to many local and national leaders, including MLAs and MPs, but to no avail,” HuffPost reports
