VOTE TDP FOR DEVELOPMENT IN HYDERABAD: PARITALA SUNITA

AP Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunita here on Thursday exhorted the citizens of Greater Hyderabad to exercise their franchise in favour of the TDP-BJP combine in the February 2 GHMC elections for the development of Hyderabad.

As part of GHMC election campaigning in the city on Thursday, Sunita conducted a door-to-door campaign in Kalyan Nagar under Vengalrao Division and urged the voters to support TDP candidate Vemulapalli Pradeep Choudhary and ensure his victory by a huge margin. She exhorted the women to rush to election booths in the morning hours and exercise their franchise. She also asked party workers to make at least 100 voters to vote for the party candidate.

Addressing street corner meetings at several places, Sunita said Chandrababu Naidu had taken up many developmental programs in Hyderabad during his earlier stint as CM and got lucrative jobs to lakhs of youths by transforming Madhapur village into a Hitec city. Besides, then TDP government had succeeded in quenching thirst of Greater Hyderabad citizens by bringing the Krishna river waters to the city, she said, adding that parks, fly-overs, modernization of drainage system, setting up of International airport and many infrastructure facilities were created.

Later there was no iota of development in Hyderabad for ten years during Congress and TRS regimes, she said. Though the Telangana government has Rs 16k crore surplus budget, the TRS government has done nothing for Hyderabad so far while the TDP government in AP, with a deficit budget of Rs 16k crore, has succeeded in waiving loans of farmers and Dwacra women and providing round-the-clock power supply in the State.
