Washinton D.C : Kate Winslet does not mind talking about the hot button issue of gender pay gap and she feels that the pay should be equal for both.
Claiming that her past statement on gender pay gap, especially the word ‘vulgar’ was misinterpreted, the Oscar winning actress in her clarification said when questions on specifics of pay was asked, her reply was that she really had a hard time and hence her vulgar remark was based on that specific question, reports E! Online.
In an interview sometimes back, things got controversial when Winslet described public discussion of salaries as ‘vulgar.’ (ANI)
