“I want to see Mithali Raj as coach of Indian Men’s team”: SRK – Here’s her reply

Mumbai: On the television show, TED Talks India: Nayi Sochi, Indian women’s cricket team captain, Mithali Raj shared her habits including reading books, keeping focus during match etc.

According to the report published in NDTV, discussing the importance of focus during the match she said that everyone wants her and her team to bring trophy, so, it becomes necessary to stay focused. Talking about the reading habit, she said that books help her to get rid of pressure during the match.

During the conversation, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan said that he wants to see her as the coach of Indian men’s cricket team one day.

Responding to it, Mithali Raj said, “I always want to give my best”, NDTV reported.

“TED Talks India Nayi Soch” is aired on Star Plus and the episode featuring Mithali Raj will be shown on 7th January 2018. TED is an internationally acclaimed TV show and now it is available in the Hindi language.

It may be mentioned that in the World Cup Tournament, Mithali Raj and her team played well and reached the final match. However, fails to get World Cup. Despite, the failure, the team got wonderful reception after returning because of their outstanding performance.

Mithali Raj became the only cricketer to cross 1000-run mark in World Cup games. She is the only Indian captain to lead her team to two world cup finals. She is also the leading run-scorer in the One Day International.
