Ahmedabad: A leopard likely from Indroda park in Gujarat was spotted entering state secretariat office in Gandhinagar in the middle of the night on Monday.
The forest department officials were soon informed who began a search operation in the area.
The leopard was spotted entering the secretariat around 3am through the gap between the gates.
According to senior officials reports of leopards coming close to human vicinity have been heard before but this was the first time a leopard has entered the campus in the region.

Officials are currently barred from entering the campus while the search team has is on the search for the leopard.
Video footages are being checked to ascertain if the leopard is still inside the premises, TOI reports.
