Waqf Board has taken possession of Waqf properties located at Bandlaguda. Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah told that Jamia Nooria and other institutions including a function hall have been taken directly under the supervision of Waqf Board and Waqf Board has appointed caretakers for the property.
Recently Waqf Board had suspended the Tauliat Committee members and appointed investigative officer. Mr. Asadullah informed that several institutions were being run under Waqf properties but the accounts for the same were not submitted to Waqf Board. On the charges of alleged irregularities in accounts, notice was served to Tauliat Committee. However the committee failed to give satisfactory reply.
On November 18 Chief Executive Officer issued orders regarding suspension of committee members and taking over of the institutions. Waqf Board OSD M A Ghaffar along with other officials with the help of Revenue and police officials yesterday took control of all institutions and function hall.
