Welfare Party of India to mount pressure on KCR govt. for Muslim reservation

Hyderabad: Welfare Party of India alleged that central and state government failed in fulfilling their promises. Speaking to media persons, party’s national president Qasim Rasool Ilyas accused BJP led NDA government of adopting anti-people policies and said the prime minister is promising of Achhe Din which were far from sight during the past four years. Every class of society is troubled due to government’s policies.

Taking a dig at the TRS government in Telangana, Qasim Rasool Ilyas said that the government had promised to provide 12 pc reservations to Muslims but no progress has been made during the past 4 years. While passing the bill in the assembly it was sent to the centre. It is imprudent to expect that central government will do anything in this regard.

Qasim Rasool Ilyas said if TRS government was serious over providing reservations to Muslims it would have adopted other means instead of sending the bill to the centre. He said Welfare Party will mount pressure on the government for implementation of Muslim reservations.
