Mumbai: In a shocking incident reported from Andheri West, a noted gynecologist’s dead body was found in her flat in half decomposed state.
Gynecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Poonam Satpute neigbours alerted the cops after foul smell emanated from her flat.
The body was discovered by Amboli police who have now filed a case of accidental death.
According to the report, the deceased doctor was working with several hospitals, including BSES in Andheri, Cloud Nine and Bombay Hospital.
Police reports say the doctor was in her 40’s and she was suffering from Diabetes. It Appears she might have died due to overdosage of her medicine. She used to live on the second floor in Four Bungalows.
The deceased doctor had done her MD and diploma in gynecology and obstetrics and was in the profession for the past 24 years.
