Condemning sexual harassment, Amitabh Bachchan called for stringent measures to make workplaces safer for women.

He tweeted an interview transcript where he said ‘no woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehavior or disorderly conduct, especially at her workplace…It has been most heartening to see women representations in most work vocations, on the increase in our country. It would be an unrepairable blemish if we are not able to provide them the welcome they deserve.”

Mr Bachchan was recently criticized for dodging a question on the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar controversy two weeks ago at the launch of his upcoming movie Thugs Of Hindostan

Though it is not clear to whom this interview was given he has now spoken against sexual harassment.
