NEW DELHI: In the current atmosphere of the alleged targeting of the minority community, country’s leading Islamic organisation Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind introduces its pilot project ‘Jamiat Youth Club’ that will provide the young members the training in various self-defence techniques to deal with the crisis within the community.

At the launch of the JYC exhibition at Deoband’s Firdaus Garden, Maulana Mahmood Madani, Jamiat General Secretary said, “The Bharat Scouts and Guides is an organisation in our country that besides providing physical training, also works on youths’ mental training… there is syllabus available with them, how to behave with your parents, how to live with your neighbours and help people in the need. They are given proper training how to deal with tough situations. Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind is also involved in many relief works… we also need such workers who are trained… youths will be given training in the club here,” Madini told reporters as per Financial express.

Elaborating the plan, Madini said, Jamiat plans to train the youths so that they become true servants of country and community.
