What’s Up Life raises $100,000 from Skyline Education Group

New Delhi: What’s Up Life (WUL), a unit of Redefining Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. has recently been funded by Karan Puri, author of the National Bestseller – Shit Happens and Praveen Puri of Skyline Education Group whose parent company is owned by Kamal Puri of Skyline Group based in UAE.

They’ve invested the amount as seed funding and plan to invest further as WUL expands to new cities.

“The company will utilise the funds for expansion and growing its team to newer cities and will also create new business lines.

Our mobile app is what we’d be focusing on to reach out to more people offering customized content and amazing deals,” said Gaurav Luthra, founder, What’s Up Life.

Karan Puri, investor, WUL, is the author of the national best seller “Shit Happens- Desi boy in America” a fiction novel.

Currently relocated from Dubai, Karan is an MBA with over 10 years of experience in sales/marketing.

He is also a leading social media influencer and lifestyle blogger. He completed his Bachelors in Economics from the University of Rochester, USA and also holds an MBA from International Management Institute, Delhi in the field of marketing and HR.

“I see a bright future for the digital media industry which is growing at a rate of 32 percent and believe that digital footprints are what all industries are seeking across the globe.

India is a ripe market with immense scope of growth and digitalization is the way forward,” said Karan Puri.

“We are investing in technology. We invest only when we are convinced about the revenue model. Now with this investment, we have taken stake in couple of IT firms in India.

The group also has a venture capital fund that seeks to develop new business ideas,” said Praveen Puri, investor, WUL.
