Wheat edges up on scattered demand from flour mills

New delhi: Wheat prices recovered by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on mild demand from flour mills.

However, other grains held steady in thin trade.

Traders said scattered demand from flour mills amid pause in supplies helped wheat prices to trade marginally higher.

In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) recovered by Rs 10 to Rs 1,970-1,980 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 1,980-2,010 per 90 kg.
