‘Who gave you the tender to save Hindu religion?’: Kanhaiya Kumar on Mandir-Masjid politics of BJP

Kanhaiya Kumar former President of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union spoke on BJP’s temple politics on National Dastak. He maintained that the temple issue is raised to divert attention from ‘roti’.

Kanhaiya asks those who want to create conflicts between Hindus and Muslims, ‘who gave you the tender to save Hindu religion?’ He claimed that they are using religion to mislead public. He went on to say that they don’t need Ram but Nathuram.

Kanhaiya recalled that Britishers used divide & rule policy to rule India and it was Hindu Maha Sabha who got inspired with the two-nation policy of Britishers who wanted to just put final nail in the coffin, before leaving India.

I don’t call Savarkar a Veer as he apologized Britishers, and Veers never apologize, said Kanhaiya.
