Will Smith to turn author

Washington: Hollywood superstar Will Smith is all set to write a book. He will collaborate with self-help author of ‘The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**K’ Mark Manson, reported Page Six.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star took to Instagram and posted a video to announce his joint venture. In the video Smith says, “I’m writing a book! I got years and years of stuff I want to say, and I’m finally going to write a book for y’all.”

The actor can also be heard asking Manson in the video, “Are you feeling confident? Are you feeling like we’ll be able to do transcendent art with this book?”, to which the latter replied, “I spent the last six months with crippling anxiety, but today I feel great.”

Further, Smith revealed that both of them are going to meet five publishers and pick one out of them.
“And if I had to take a guess, I feel very confident that we’re gonna go with the highest bidder. I’m just saying,” added Smith.

He captioned the post, “@MarkMansonNet is the TRUTH! He’s gonna get a book outta me. I’m SOOO Ready! I’m ’bout to tell y’all ALL MY BUSINESS. :-). Stay Tuned for More Info at WillSmith.com”

Smith, who is well known for movies like ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’, ‘Bright’ and the ‘Men in Black’ series, recently enthralled the audience at the closing ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup while performing to his song ‘Live it Up’.

He will be seen next in Sci-fi movie ‘Gemini Man’ which is slated to release on October 4, 2019.
