Withdraw letter first and campaign in T: KCR tells Naidu

Hyderabad: During his second leg of election campaigning, TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today launched a blitzkrieg at his bĂȘte noire and Andhra Pradesh Counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu for coming in the way of Sitharama Project in the combined Khammam district. He advised Chandrababu to withdraw his letter against Sitharama Project to the Centre and then come to campaign in Telangana for the Assembly polls.

With what face Naidu will ask votes when he tried to stall the projects and growth of the State, Chandrasekhar Rao thundered. Along with caretaker minister T Nageshwar Rao, at public meetings at Paler and Khammam, the TRS chief vehemently criticised Chandrababu for stalling growth of the Telangana State. Showering praises on Tummala for completing Bhakta Ramadas project, he promised of more welfare if the ruling party gets mandate in the present elections.

Turning tables on the earlier governments of Congress and TDP, he reprimanded the former for ignoring the plight of irrigation projects, though 180 km long Godavari is passing through Khammam district. He attributed the denial of irrigation waters and non completion of the projects to the negligence and partisan attitude of the Congress and TD regimes. KCR sought to know whether the people want to pierce their own eyes and get gallows around their necks by supporting the congress led Peoples Front, which gets directions from Chandrababu Naidu. He also accused the TDP Chief of hatching a conspiracy against Telangana, and meddling in our issues by writing a number of letters against the projects to the centre.

Stressing the need for giving the names of the noted Telangana leaders like Komram Bhim and others to the irrigation projects, KCR said that the congress regime failed to complete Rajiv Sagar and Indira Sagar projects and turned the lands in to dry in the district. YSR has looted Polavaram and Dummugudem tail waters to the Andhra region, he alleged. Now that the elections are coming in December, the people should reject the congress and the TDP for failing to complete the projects and coming in the way of development. The people should give their mandate by voting to the Car symbol of the TRS and ensure its candidates victory, he said.

At Palakurty and Warangal public meetings , the chief minister sought the people to vote for Errabelli Dayakar Rao and help develop the segment. Announcing sops to the segment, KCR exhorted the people to reject the TDP leadership as Naidu has been spiking our growth even after bifurcation of the State.
