World unites against Trump’s decision to make Jerusalem Israel’s capital

Violent protests erupt across the world including Middle East, against American President Donald Trump’s decision to declare Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyeb Erdogan slammed the move and said that Israel is a terrorist state where children are killed. According to AFP, Recep Tayyeb Erdogan termed Trump’s decision as a plan to disrupt peace in the world.

Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Abdur Razzak said his country will not allow to violate the sanctity of Jerusalem. He termed Trump’s decision as unconstitutional and illegal and said Trump is putting the region into fire.

4 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli forces’ attack in Palestine since the Trump has made the announcement.

Hundreds of protest processions were taken out in Pakistan, Turkey , Malaysia, Jordan, Lebanon, Indonesia and Egypt against the US decision.

The protestors in Lebanon stage protest before US embassy and shouted slogans against Trump while burning effigy of US president.

In Jakarta nearly 5000 Indonesians expressed solidarity with Palestinians by protesting in front of US embassy. Thousands of teachers and students of Jamia Al-Azhar in Cairo protested against US decision.

US Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Middle East is scheduled on December 20, however Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas has refused to talk to him demanding Trump’s withdrawal of his decision. Coptic priest Pop Tawadros has also declined to meet American Vice President saying that Trump’s decision has hurt the sentiments of lakhs of Arabs.
