Yemen: A car bomb was detonated outside Yemeni Finance Ministry in Aden’s southern city Khor Maksar today which claimed two lives.
According to the sources, the blast outside the six-storey building has severely damaged the building along with shattering windows of buildings adjacent to the Finance Ministry building.
Ambulances were rushed to the site of the blast. The sources said assailants shot gunshots against the security personnel. So far no group has come forward to claim the attack.
Nearly five people were gravely injured who were brought to the city’s government-run Jumhouriya hospital which declared two persons brought dead to the hospital, while three others were in critical condition.
The official at the hospital said the hospital authorities believe there are more casualties at the blast scene.
