Yogi Adityanath credits PM Modi for India’s popularity

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday showered praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance that helped increase India’s prestige further in the global arena.

Speaking at the ‘Yuva Udghosh’ programme here, the Chief Minister said, “India’s prestige has increased in the last three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When people discuss top three nations of the world, they take India’s name as well. If they take the name of the U.S. and Russia then they also take the name of India. This has happened all because of Prime Minister Modi”.

He added that it is a moment of pride for all of the citizens of India that under ‘Yuva Udghosh’ scheme, the capabilities and energy of youths above the age of 17-year-old is to be utilized for the development of the society.

Earlier in the day, BJP chief Amit Shah kick-started the party’s ‘Yuva Udghosh’ programme at Varanasi’s sports ground of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKV).

Shah was joined by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister at the event.

The Yuva Udghosh programme is being organised focusing on the youths who are above the age of 17 and will become new voters before the 2019 general election.

Shah also addressed around 17,000 youths in Varanasi, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency. (ANI)
