Yogi asks saints not to make ‘temple’ demands

Allahabad: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath on Friday has asked saint and seers, without mentioning about ‘Ram Temple’ construction, not to make any demands.

As per a report by TOI, UP CM was addressing the ‘Sant Sammelan’ at Magh Mela, where he said that just like PM Modi has achieved a global recognition for yoga and Kumbh without any demands, other demands would be met with time.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has organised the Sant Sammelan, where VHP’s international general secretary Champat Rai pressed the construction of Ram Temple saying, “Construction of Ram temple is associated with the pride of country”.

“Did saints have to demand global recognition to yoga? When Narendra Modi became PM he did it. In the same way, Kumbh got heritage status,” said Yogi.

“Saints should instead give blessings (to us) and the works will get completed automatically,” he added.
