Lucknow: Muzaffar Nagar riots are one of the worst riots in the history of the country. However, Yogi Adityanath government is trying to protect the BJP leaders including the key accused in the riots. The Yogi government is looking for the back door to protect former union minister and present state minister. It has already written letter to the officials of the affected districts. However, the government may not protect them unless it gains backing from the court where the cases have been moved. Hence it is highly impossible to acquit them from the cases.

It must be noted that recently the Yogi cabinet had decided to take back 20000 such cases which are political in nature. However, the government has not yet defined the term ‘political nature’. This policy is especially adapted in riot cases.

Be they Gorakphur riots or Muzaffarnagar, people associated to Yogi Adityanath and his party are mostly the culprits.
