Hyderabad: Youngest IAS Officer, IPS Officer, topper of Chartered Accountancy (CA) and National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) are some of the achievements of Muslim youths in the recent years.
Despite many hurdles including financial, political, psychological etc, these youths proved, “Nothing is impossible”.
Youngest IAS Officer
Mr. Ansar Shaikh is the youngest IAS Officer. He had cracked UPSC Civil Services Exam 2015 and secured 371st rank at the age of 21. Later, he was allotted to IAS West Bengal Cadre.
It may be mentioned that earlier, Mr. Roman Sanini was the youngest IAS officer who had cracked the same examination in 2013 at the age of 22.

In one of the gatherings, Mr. Ansar narrated the difficulties he faced during his studies. He said that his father was an autorickshaw driver who used to earn Rs. 100-150 per day. Many a time, his family used to miss dinner or breakfast.
Talking about the difficulties he faced during his preparation for the Civil Services Exam, he said that many a time, he had survived without food.
He believes that in order to achieve success nothing matters except determination.
Youngest IPS Officer
Mr. Noorul Hasan is the youngest IPS Officer. He hails from Peelibheet District of UP. After passing 10th class, he went to Raibareili along with his father and studied Intermediate through Hindi Medium. Later, he joined B.Tech in 2009 at Aligarh Muslim University. He improved his proficiency in English language during his studies at AMU.
Earlier, he had served at Siemens Company for 14 months and a year at Atomic Energy Commission.
In 2013, he had started preparations for Civil Service Exam (CSE) of UPSC and secured 625th rank in UPSC CSE-2014.
Being a student of Hindi medium, he improved his English later and cracked CSE. He is the role model for the youngsters.
His message to Youth and Civil Service Aspirants-
- Dream as big as possible but always prepare yourself for Plan B. Even after plan B, Plan C must be there.
- Decide your destination as early as possible and start working towards it.
- In my opinion Success=Summation of each day work carried out for years.
- Introspect your weakness. Divide your target in the years, months, weeks and days and move ahead a little everyday. Achieve something every day.
- You need to have passion to achieve your goal.
- There is no discrimination.
- Get best possible guidance from your seniors. It is always better to learn from the experience of others.
- Never get demoralize from failures.
- Civil service exam is the test for patience and self confidence. So fail but fail better every time. In the end you’ll get success.

Seerat Fatima, successful candidate of IAS exam who proved “determination is key to success”
Seerat Fatima is another inspiring Muslim youth who proved that ‘determination is the key to success’.
Ms. Fatima who hails from Allahabad had started her career as a primary school teacher. Her father who faced many difficulties in his service had decided to make his children officers.
Ms. Seerat Fatima told that right from IX class onwards she had made a determination to become an IAS Officer. She further told that if a person can cut mountain to construct a road why can’t a girl from the middle class family crack IAS exam. She proved that lack of money cannot be a hindrance.
Some people dissuade the candidates from taking Civil Service under the pretext of discriminations based on caste, creed or poverty. Muslim youths keep themselves away from Civil Service due to inferiority complex. She proved that firm determination paves the way for success.
Shadab topped CA exam, proved ‘poverty cannot be hindrance’; Shaukat got second rank
Mr. Shadab Hussain (23), a resident of Kota, Rajasthan topped the CA (old syllabus) exam. He secured 597 out of 800 marks.
His success proves two things: one, if parents are less educated, it is not necessary that their children should also lag behind in education. The second is that poverty cannot be a hindrance in scaling greater heights in their careers.
After the announcement of CA results, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Congress President also congratulated him.
The second topper, Shaukat Husain Memon who belongs to Kutch, Gujarat secured 584 out of 800 marks. During his preparation for the exam, he received full cooperation from his family members.
It may be noted that the CA exam is one of the toughest competitive exams of the country. Normally, not more than 2% candidates crack this exam every year.
NEET topper
Following ‘I can do it’ mantra, Ashraf Kesrani bagged the first position in the All India Postgraduate National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (PG-NEET).
Ashraf who studied in Baroda Medical College scored 1,006 marks out of 1200.
Hailing from a middle class family, it was not easy for Ashraf to achieve such a big success but he fulfilled his dream of getting into the best medical college without paying exorbitant fees.
These Muslims youths proved that nothing can stop them from achieve their goals. They achieved success without any support from the so-called Muslim leaders and clerics.
