Hyderabad: The Hayath Nagar Police arrested one youth on charges of rape with a minor girl in Medchal district.
The arrested accused identified as Rajesh, a native of UP, lured a minor Girl in the guise of marriage and took her to Kundanpally Village of Shamirpet Mandal, Medchal Dist, kept her in a room and forcibly raped her in the night of November 25.
The accused Rajesh was working as a Machine Operator in Plastic Covers Company in Mangal Kunta, Thorrur Village, Abdullapurmet Mandal, R.R.Dist. He came to Hyderabad from his native place about 3 ½ years ago to eking livelihood. Since then, he was working as Machine Operator in a Plastic Company located at Brahmanapally Village by residing in Mangal Kunta of Thorrur Village. The victim Girl aged about 17 yrs was also working in the same company along with her mother. The accused used to talk with her freely while attending the work. Due to the said acquaintance, the accused dragged her into love, then put the marriage proposals with her. About one month ago the accused left the said company at Brahmanapally, joined in Sri Laxmi Narsimha Polymers Plastic Company at Kundanpally and worked for 10 days, again came down to Thorrur and started working in the Plastic Company at Brahmanapally Village. About 5 days ago from the date of offence, the accused left the said company, went to Kundanpally and stayed there by working in the same company. On the day of offence the accused contacted with the victim Girl, lured her in the guise of marriage, came near to her house on a Motor cycle and contacted her mobile phone, made her to believe him in the guise of marriage, taken her to Kundanpally presently where he is working, kept her in the workers room of the said company and forcibly raped her. Having known the case booked at PS Hayath Nagar, the accused brought the Victim Girl to Hayath Nagar Bus Stand on November 27 afternoon. He dropped her and fled away from there.
While the efforts to apprehend the accused was under progress, the police on credible information arrested the accused at Kundanpally Plastic Company and brought him to PS this morning. During interrogation the accused admitted his guilt.
In recent days, luring of the girls is taking place and unfortunately these kind of cases were increasing which is shocking trend. The youngsters attracting minor Girls in the name of love. Taking as advantage, luring them in the guise of marriage and taking away them from the lawful custody of their parents.
During this year so far in only Hayath Nagar PS, 4 cases of minor Girls Kidnapping cum rape and 7 cases minor Girl Kidnapping cases were registered.
Warning to stringent action against the people who indulged in such cases, Rachakonda Police advised the parents to take control of their innocent children, observe them carefully.
The special team under the supervision of M. Venkateswara Rao, Dy. Commissioner of Police, L.B. Nagar Zone, V. Ravinder Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanasthalipuram Division, J. Narender Goud, Inspector of Police, Hayathnagar, G. Raman Goud, Sub-Inspector of Police along with I.D party PCs had done commendable Job in arresting the accused.(NSS)
