Hyderabad: Golconda Police arrested a youth who allegedly molested a minor girl.
According to the report of ACP, Asif Nagar, Mr. K. Ashok Chakravarti, Golconda Police arrested Mohammed Sami (32), a resident of Chota Bazar, Golconda who runs a Kirana store. He allegedly molested a nine-year-old girl on 16th November when she approached his shop for getting milk packet.
When the mother of the girl again asked her to get a milk packet from the same shop, she refused. On asking, the daughter told that the shopkeeper misbehaved her. A complaint was lodged in Golconda Police Station. Police arrested Sami and imposed POCSO act. He was presented before the court. The magistrate sent him to jail.
