Madurai: A youth landed in trouble after he posted abusive comments against PM Modi on Facebook.
According to the news published in TOI, he is allegedly a fan of actor Vijay and the incident reportedly occurred due to standoff between actor’s fan and BJP workers of Tamil Nadu.
It may be mentioned film “Mersal” is the reason for the tussle between them. Its few dialogues triggered the controversy.
Srivilliputhur town police arrested the youth after K. Marimuthu, BJP District Secretary lodged a complaint.
During the investigation, police found that the comments were posted from Ramakrishnapuram. Later, police arrested S. Thirumurugan.
