Zainab Begum of Hyderabad returns home, narrates torture she faced in Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad: Finally, Zainab Begum of Hyderabad returned home after facing torture in Saudi Arabia.

According to the report published in TOI, Zainab Begum, a resident of Kalapathar who returned home said that she had lost all hopes that she would come out of the clutches of her cruel Kafil.

Talking to media persons, she narrated the torture she faced in Saudi Arabia. She told that she was forced to work for 18 hours in the house where 20 people reside in eight rooms. She used to sleep only 4 hours between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Her Kafil’s family used to make her starve.

Kafil’s family members even did not allow her to talk to her relatives in Hyderabad. However, one day, she met with a person who was passing by. She took his cell phone to contact her son in Hyderabad. She also sent a video in which she narrated the torture she was facing there.

On getting information, MBT leader, Amjadullah Khan Khalid wrote to Union External Affairs Minister, Ms. Sushma Swaraj.

After this, authorities came into action and helped her return home. She reached Hyderabad on 26th January 2018.

It may be mentioned that the local agent in Hyderabad had sent Zainab to Saudi Arabia by promising a job in a hospital. However, once she landed there, she was compelled to work as a housemaid, TOI reported.

Meanwhile, Kalapather Police arrested the local agent, Mohammed Ismail.
