ni-msme ally with Danish Consortium of Academic Craftsmanship

Hyderabad: The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) welcomes a Delegation of Danish Consortium for Academic Craftsmanship (DCAC) of Denmark to collaborate in Vocational Education and Training (VET) at ni-msme campus, Yousufguda from 29 September to 1 October 2019.

The Danish Consortium of Academic Craftsmanship accredited by the Danish Ministry of Education, Denmark is the largest vocational consortium of Denmark offering more than a 100 vocational programmes serving about 20,000 full time students every year and with an annual turnover of USD 300 millions.

One of the delegates, Mr. Sudhanshu Rai, Associate Professor, Copenhagen Business School said, that the Consortium develops tailor-made educational programmes in collaboration with international businesses and organisations based on their professional competences, pedagogy and the Danish VET-model. He further emphasized that their programmes prepare students for employability and help them develop and utilize their full potential.

Director General, Shri D. Chandra Sekhar said “ni-msme’s strategic partnership with DCAC is an aim to enrich and enhance knowledge sharing and adopting advanced pedagogical methods relevant to today’s time. This initiative of ni-msme will benefit our nation at large”.

During the signing ceremony of MOU between ni-msme and DCAC, Dr. Ashwani Goel, Director- Academics said that ni-msme’s faculty will adopt the educational model of imparting craftsmanship, innovation and green thinking along with knowledge, skills and competences.

As part of their visit, the following activities were planned for the delegates by ni-msme: Plantation, Campus Visit, Meeting with faculty members, sightseeing, signing of MOU and Dinner at Chiraan Fort Club.
