Rohtak: In yet another shocking incident, a nine-year-old allegedly raped by her father died at the local Civil Hospital confirmed sources.
According to reports, the victim was the eldest of four siblings of a family that had migrated to Haryana in search of work, TOI reports.
The victim’s mother approached the police and registered a case under POCSO (Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences, Act) against the father.
The victim used to spend the day with her mother but would sleep next to her father at night read the complaint.
The victim complained of queasiness and sickness on Monday evening for which the mother rushed her to a hospital where she died.
The victim’s body was sent for post mortem examination to PGIMS Rohtak.
Meanwhile the hunt is on for the accused who is absconding.
