No salaries for MANUU Staff this month

Hyderabad: It seems that Govt. Of India is bent upon targeting Urdu language which is evident from the delay in making payment of Salaries to the staff of the University.

After scrapping Article 370, it was stated that the attempt to put an end to Urdu language has started but by delaying the payment of salaries to MANUU staff. They are being harassed.

V.C. of MANUU, Dr. Aslam Parvaiz confirmed that for the past seven months, the University is facing difficulties in getting the amounts for payment of salaries.

The attention of the Ministry of HRD was also invited in this regard but it was of no use.

V.C. also stated that budget was being released slashing it down to 30% to 40% and the University was making use of its resources to adjust the expenditure. He also said that this is the only central university which is facing financial problems.

The strength of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching is more than 1300.
