NPR Data is not the proof of Citizenship

Hyderabad: National Population Register (NPR) will start on 1^st April 2020 which will continue till 30^th September 2020.

During these five months, 21 questions will be asked to the citizens whereas during the Census of 2011, fourteen questions were put to them.

Union Home Ministry has issued NPR Manual. According to provisions of the manual, citizenship can’t be given to people.

Enumerators have been advised not to argue about the nationality of the individuals. They should fill in only those particulars which the individuals furnish.
