Hyderabad: Noted Human Rights activist, Ms. Teesta Setalvad will address a special meeting at the Golden Jubilee Hall of Siasat Urdu Daily today at 11 a.m. on ‘NRC and its solution’.
It may be mentioned that Ms. Teesta has been very active in fighting the cases of the Gurajat Muslim riots victims. She faced a number of cases filed by various Governments against her in various courts of law.
On account of her efforts in filing cases in the Supreme Court against those who committed atrocities in Gujarat riots, 178 culprits were convicted, out of which 124 were given a life sentence.
It is a special meeting. The seating capacity of the Golden Jubilee Hall of Siasat is very limited. Such of the persons who have concern for the community and those who want to work in the field of NRC and Human Rights are cordially invited to attend this meeting.
