Pakistan: Worry about saving POK, Opp PPP slams Imran Khan

Islamabad: While Pakistan PM Imran Khan is occupied with India’s Kashmir issue, opposition party Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutoo took a dig at the PM and asked him to focus on saving Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Zardari’s comments on Imran khan soon came after US president Trump clearly stated his intentions of not meddling in Kashmir issue, TOI reports.

Prime Minister should focus on saving Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and Muzaffarabad and forget Srinagar Zardari said on Monday after meeting his father, Asif Ali Zardari and aunt Faryal Talpur in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.

“The government has totally failed on the Kashmir front, as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has annexed Kashmir, while the government was sleeping and busy in destroying economy of the country and forcing its political opponents against the wall,” Bilawal said.

“First, Pakistan’s policy on Kashmir was how to get Srinagar. Now due to the Imran Khan government’s inept behaviour and greed our foreign policy position is how to save Muzaffarabad (the capital of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir),” he added.
