As reported by The News, UNSC President Joanna Wronecka told reporters on Wednesday that Jammu and Kashmir situation will be discussed by UNSC behind closed doors most likely, on Friday, 16 August.

Pakistan had requested UNSC to call an urgent meeting to discuss the revocation of article-370 that grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir, and asked for the body to meet behind closed doors. Pakistan’s request was backed by China and Russia.
