Hyderabad: There is a provision in the law for filing a criminal case against the private school managements to lodge a complaint if they charge more than the fees prescribed by the government.
These days, many complaints are being received that private schools and colleges are collecting more fees than the prescribed rates. Despite complaining to the authorities, no action has been taken so far.
Higher officials of the Department of Education have clarified that government has already prescribed the rates of fees to be charged in the private schools.
It is reported that Department of Education has planned a strategy to deal with the issue of excess fees collection by private school managements.
