Hyderabad: In view of the coronavirus crisis in the country, the khateeb of Makkah Masjid has appealed to all Muslims to offer taraweeh namaz (prayer) at their homes instead of gathering at the mosques.
Recently, Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, appealed Muslims to perform Namaz at their residences during the Ramzan period.
Hafiz Rizwan Qureshi, Khateeb of Makkah Masjid appealed to all Muslims to offer Taraweeh in their homes and also avoid large gathering in homes too.
He also announced on behalf of the management that the taraweeh is not going to perform in Makkah Masjid due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hafiz Rizwan also urged people to take all precautions as it is for ourselves.
