Hyderabad: Descendant of revered Sufi Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jeelani aka Ghouse Al Azam , Pir Salman Al Gailani is on a visit to Hyderabad and will be meeting with the followers on Sunday, January 12. He is also accompanied by his son Pir Najamuddin Al Gailani.
Pir Salman is also said to be a descendant of the grandsons of Prophet Muhammad. He have many followers in Hyderabad.
During this trip, he will be meeting his followers on January 12 for the last time and will initiate his followers into the Qadriya Sufi order. He will swear allegiance as disciples (Bait).
Pir Gailani, who is the grandson of Pir Ibrahim he will also give sermons and talks on love, tolerance and the importance of Sufism to the people of the city.
Gailani who traces his lineage to Iraq, is staying at Hill Fort Road near old police control Nampally, Hyderabad.
