Police Officer uses stun gun on 65 YO woman for flouting rules

Washington: A 65-year-old woman was shot with a stun gun by the police officials after she had refused to sign a traffic ticket and attempted to drive away resisting arrest when stopped again.

According to NBC news, the woman identified as Denra Hamil refused to sign an $80 ticket for a broken taillight and when insisted she responded: “I don’t think that I deserve to pay $80 for something that is fixable and I can fix it,” NDTV reports.

Despite the Police officer asking her to exit the vehicle, she refuses to do so and instead rolls up her window and drives away, prompting a police chase.

Ms Hamil is then seen on video resisting arrest and kicking the officer, leading him to deploy his stun gun on her.
