Pollution decreased in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Due to delay in Monsoon, people especially farmers are perturbed.

However, on the one hand, due to scanty rains, people felt relief, on the other hand, it has decreased air pollution and made the quality of air better.

According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) released by Telangana State Pollution Control Board, at many places in Hyderabad, there has been a decrease in air pollution.

The tests for air pollution were conducted at Balanagar, Uppal, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Kukatpally, Imliban Bus Stand, University of Hyderabad, Sanathnagar and Zoo Park wherein, air pollution was recorded at 234 in January this year whereas, in June, it got reduced to 65 AQI.

In Sanathnagar, in January, it was recorded at 211 wherein, in June, it reached 52 AQI.
