Probe ordered to investigate alleged sale of girls

Medak: In Hanuman Tanda, located in Kondapur Village of Narayankhed Mandal of Medak District, probe was ordered for investigating the complaints that girl trade is being practiced in that area.

According to the report, two girls belonging to Hanuman Tanda were married to Rajasthani groom a few days back.

Some persons alleged that these girls were sold.

Police officials contacted their parents and asked them about the allegations. They informed that the girls were not sold. The girls themselves got married in Arya Samaj Temple willingly and got marriage certificates also. These certificates were produced before the investigating officers.

During the investigation, the parents of the girls informed that they are happy in Rajasthan. They also talked to the son-in-law and father-in-law of their daughters more than once.

The parents informed that some persons are deliberately tarnishing the image of their families.

The parents arranged telephonic conversations of their daughter with the investigating officers. The girls told that they got married willingly and leading their lives happily.

The girls and their parents demanded the investigating officers to take stern action against those who are tarnishing their image.

On the other hand, it was reported that some persons from Rajasthan stayed in a lodge at Narayankhed and finalized the sale transaction of the girls. At that time, police had registered a case against the persons who had stayed in the lodged in finalizing this transaction.
