Hyderabad: The Lone BJP MLA From Telangana State Raja Singh on Monday alleged that there was a  conspiracy behind the mysterious death of a large number of cows at Tadepalli near here. He demanded the chief minister of the state, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, to order an inquiry into the issue.

Singh made these remarks after visiting the goshala in the city following the death of 86 cows. The cows died after consuming the fodder provided to them. Of the total of  1500 cows from the goshala, 128 fell ill after consuming the fodder. Of this,  86 died within hours of the consumption. The goshala is being run by a group of maravedis.

It has three barracks and ten sheds to keep the cows. The committee members brought the fodder for these cows from Addanki and the surrounding areas of the city. The fodder was fed to the cows on Sunday night. The cows began to collapse on the floor minutes after eating the fodder and died immediately.
