Hyderabad: At last, Congress leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy finally announced that he would be joining the BJP in the State.
Addressing mediapersons in the national capital on Tuesday, Rajagopal Reddy made it clear that he has decided to join the BJP to defeat the ruling TRS party in the State. He also said he strongly felt that he cannot do justice to his constituents by continuing in the Congress. He also disclosed that he got feelers from the BJP twice and held discussions with BJP leader Ram Madhav on the issue.
Reiterating that the BJP was the only alternative to the TRS in the State, Rajagopal Reddy said the BJP has great future in the State. Refuting the allegations that he had decided to join the BJP to protect his business interests, he said he would have joined the TRS long back if he wanted to protect his business interests.
