VIJAYAWADA: Two teachers of a government primary school are accused of giving’rape demo’ (how they are raped) inside the classroom.
The alleged incident took place on Friday in Chintalapudi mandal in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
As the matter unfolds, a group of villagers assault the teachers and handed them over to the police. They also held protest outside the school.
Uproar over the incident, the District education officials swung into action to investigate the veracity of the matter.
District education officer CV Renuka told TOI, “In his report, the mandal education officer said there was a quarrel among three students – two boys and a girl – of Class III. The girl was injured in the fight. The officer said he found no evidence that the girl had been used as a volunteer in a demonstration of rape,” Renuka said.
