Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala MP Hibi Eden’s wife Anna Linda Eden has landed her self in a controversy after her ‘insensitive rape joke’ post on Facebook drew the ire of social media users.
Her FB post was later deleted while she also issued a clarification on the same, News18 reports.
However, the screenshot of her FB post that has been retracted read as:
“Fate is like rape if you can’t resist it then try to enjoy it (sic)” she said along with a short length video’s of her child being rescued from their flooded home following heavy rainfall in Kochi.
Giving her clarification over her post, Anna wrote: “I was going through a really tough time. I was not trying to insult a gruesome state that many women had to face…I am extremely sad that such a misunderstanding happened in my post. I express my regrets on it.”
