Hyderabad: Former minister G Jagadish Reddy today said the State government was committed for providing help to physically disabled in the State. Chief Minister K Chandra sekhar Rao has offered to provide Rs 3016 pension to physically disabled in the State, he said.
Participating in a program as chief guest at Suryapet, the former minister distributed physical aids and assistive devices to the physically challenged. He appreciated Rural Electrical Corporation Association for distributing them under CSR Funds. He also called upon the institutions to come forward to help the needy and physically disabled. In addition to the government help some of the agencies or associations like CSR are helping the disabled as social responsibility he said. MP B Lingaiah Yadav, MLA G Kishore and others present.
