Hyderabad: Mr. M.V. Reddy, Collector of Malkajgiri passed orders for imposing a fine of Rs. 5000 for parking the vehicles in ‘No Parking Zone’.
He issued these orders while addressing a review meeting held in his office yesterday. Mr. Reddy also instructed the officials to be vigilant and have an eye on the criminals. Police patrolling should be intensified, he added.
He instructed the officials of State Excise Dept. to prevent using public places for drinking wine and other unlawful activities.
He advised the officials of Education Dept. to train the students to adopt self-defense mechanism. The District Collector paid homage to the former Tehsildar, Ms. Vijaya Reddy, her attender, Chandraiah and appealed to the women to face every untoward situation boldly and contact toll free phone number 181.
