Hyderabad: RSS can never even think of touching us said AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi slamming RSS while recalling his controversial statement he had made in 2013 in which he said that removing police for only 15 minutes would be enough to balance the Hindu-Muslim population ratio.
Mr Owaisi was speaking at a public meeting in Karimnagar yesterday. He said: “RSS can never even think of touching us. People only scare those who get scared easily and the world is scared of those who know how to scare people off,” India today reports
He then went on to recall his controversial remark and said: “You know why they hate me? Because they are yet to overcome the ’15 minute’ comment.”
Back then in 2013, Owaisi had said, “We (Muslims) are 25 crore and they are 100 crore. Remove the police for just 15 minutes and see how the numbers turn out after that.”
Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi was speaking on the lynching incidents that have happened in the past few months across the nation.
